BUILDING AN ART MARKET IN SPOKANE

Bazaar is a marketplace for emerging artists, artisans, and craftspeople to sell work and build relationships with people who care about where the art and goods they buy come from. Starting in 2014, Terrain created Bazaar as a friendly open-air street market where artists can sell their work directly to customers. Featuring work from more than 50 vendors, priced at $100 or less, Bazaar attracted nearly 8,000 visitors in its first year and vendors sold more than $36,000 of art and craft. In 2015, Bazaar almost doubled its sales and we expect that trajectory to continue.
